It sounds crazy, but today, Alabama pee peed in the potty!!! When we went to see Dr. Renew for her 6 month appt., she told us that some of the kids she sees who are adopted from China are potty trained by 6 months old. I couldn't believe it and she said what they do is sit them on the potty after they eat each time. They get used to going in the potty and are trained at a very early age. She suggested we give it a try. So, today after she ate, I took off her diaper and sat her on the potty I bought last week at a consignment sale and almost right away, she went! I put back on her clean diaper and saved a diaper! yay! Not easy when you're not home a lot like us, but worth a try anyway!

Yay Jenna!
Last Friday, we went to see Jenna be a cheerleader at the Glascock County football game. She got to be at the top of the "pyramid" and was so excited. They of course lost, but it was fun to be with Bo and Kathie and Jenna. It's so funny how their games are. They are such a small school and their games are more like rec league games...haha! You bring your chairs to sit along the fence....very different than the Thomson games!
Alabama dressed in orange for the GCHS Panthers! This picture is too funny! Makes me laugh!!! She loves her Uncle Bo and he is totally in love with her, too!

Why are you taking pictures....Get me outta here!
A few days ago, Alabama started scooting to the end of her crib and pushing down the bumper pads so that she could see out and reach for me to come and get her! She would cry/scream and when I would come see that she still had her passy...this is what I would find! What's a Momma to do? Break. Your. Heart. Thankfully, she's gotten back into going to sleep well the past couple of days.

We're once again featured on the blog of our photographer, Ashley Bailey at www.babyfeetphotography.blogspot.com

Labor Day Weekend
We had a fun Labor Day weekend. Of course Friday and Saturday, we got to see the football games. Sunday, Alabama wore this white dress and hat to church. I wanted her to wear something very summery for the last Sunday before Labor Day. She looked so adorable!
Adam was in the skit for Kids Alive so he's looking a little rough after changing from "Uncle Bo"
Then Monday, Adam worked in the yard and put up the swing I bought at the Salvation Army earlier in the week. She tried it out and loved it! I think we've found her new favorite activity! I'll post a video later.
Since we were going to Gibson to visit with my Aunt and Uncle and Nana, Alabama wore her John Deere shirt and overalls! We did a quick photo shoot with Daddy before we left for the country! ha
I think she's going to love "driving" the tractor!
Gooo Dawgs! Sic' Em!
I looooove football season and was so excited for the Bulldogs to play this weekend! It was even more fun to have Alabama and get her dressed up in the team colors as well. On Friday, we headed to the Brickyard to see the Thomson Bulldogs play Washington-Wilkes. It's a big rival game....and we won! We're still looking for a THS outfit for Alabama, but I put together this for her to wear. She wasn't that interested in the game, but she did really like watching the band! The Thomson High Bulldog Brigade really did a great job....so proud!
On Saturday, the kickoff for the UGA/Oklahoma State game was at 3:30. We all wore our Red and Black. Here Alabama is doing her "Go Dawgs" cheer with Aunt Katie.Alabama made it through about the first play before she was ready for her nap, but anyway, I love football Saturdays! We were home most of the day while Adam went with his Mom to look at a car she may be purchasing. Got some housework done, did some of my bible study, and sorted some of Alabama's clothes she can no longer wear for some fall clothes in a larger size. We were sad that the Dawgs lost, but hoping for a better rest of the season!
