Fathers day

The kids and I made a fun card for Adam for Fathers day. I took their pictures and then added words to the chalk boards in picassa that said "We love you more than Duck Dynasty" "or the Georgia Bulldogs!" He loved it! We had a relaxing day at home and picked up Maryland fried chicken for lunch with a whole pint of their amazing sweet potato casserole! Yummy! I'm thankful for my wonderful Daddy and for my "baby daddy"! Ha!

8 months

Pate, you are eight months old now. You weigh 21 pounds and wear a size 4 diaper and are about to out grow your size 9 month clothes. You are into everything and are such a curious boy! You crawl on your hands and knees and pull up on furniture and toys. You make a bee line for Bamas room every chance you get. You have this little mischievous grin you do when you know you're not supposed to do something. You are so stinking' cute and are so much fun! I love playing games with you like peek a boo! You give high fives and will sometimes wave bye. You eat lots of foods and seem to enjoy them all. You took your first trip to the beach this past weekend and you were a little unsure of the water but had the best time playing in the sand. You love your Daddy and get so excited when comes home. You almost need a hair cut because your hair is sooo long! You are still waking up one or two times at night and still have no teeth. I love you soooo much Usry Pate Smelts and am so happy and proud to be your Mama!

10 wonderful years!

Adam and I celebrated 10 years of marriage on Friday! I am so blessed and am very proud to be his wife. It seems like forever ago I was a young 19 year old bride marrying my one love in Dearing, Georgia. There are so many things I would have done differently but I've never wanted to change my groom! Ha!(photographer? Yes!) Pastor Bill said a few weeks ago that you grow more like your spouse as you grow more like Jesus and I thought that was such a great word! I think that has definitely been true of us and I'm so thankful. We celebrated by going to Bonefish to eat, got ice cream at the Pink Dipper, and rode around and looked at some precious houses by the river. :) good times! We are planning a trip to Nashville this fall. Here are a few pics.
I'm writing on my iPhone while babes are asleep in the car after our third day of VBS and a trip to Publix. Love my phone! I May have found a way to blog more! Yay!
